Position Summary
The ERP Analyst / Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting, improving, and expanding Cajun's core business applications, with primary focus on the ERP environment and related business processes.
This role partners directly with Accounting, Operations, Payroll, Human Resources, and other business functions to understand business needs, improve processes, configure systems, support users, and deliver technology solutions that improve efficiency and data quality.
Key Responsibilities
ERP & Business Application Ownership
• Serve as a primary functional owner and subject matter expert for assigned ERP modules and business systems.
• Support system configuration, enhancements, troubleshooting, testing, and upgrades.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration standards, and business process documentation.
• Coordinate issue resolution with vendors, developers, infrastructure resources, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure changes are tested, documented, and communicated appropriately.
Business Process Analysis
• Partner with business leaders and users to understand workflows, requirements, and pain points.
• Translate business needs into clear system requirements and practical technology solutions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate manual work, and improve system utilization.
• Evaluate whether needs should be addressed through configuration, workflow changes, reporting, integration, or system enhancements.
• Help establish consistent processes and system usage across the organization.
Reporting, Data & Integrations
• Support reporting, data analysis, and information needs related to assigned business systems.
• Work with Data and Development resources to define reporting and integration requirements.
• Assist with data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Help improve data quality, ownership, and consistency across business applications.
• Support interfaces between ERP and other enterprise systems.
Projects & User Support
• Participate in business application projects, upgrades, implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
• Lead requirements gathering, testing, user acceptance, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Provide functional support and training to users.
• Maintain knowledge articles, procedures, and system documentation.
• Serve as a liaison between business departments, IT, and technology vendors.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting ERP systems, business applications, or business process improvement.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Experience with system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, reporting, and user support.
• Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and non-technical business users.
• Able and willing to report to the Baton Rouge main office 5 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with ERP systems used in construction, industrial, or project-based organizations.
• Experience supporting accounting, payroll, project management, procurement, or operational business processes.
• Experience with Viewpoint Vista, Trimble products, SQL, Power BI, or related enterprise technologies.

• Operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
• Frequently communicate and exchange accurate information in person, electronically, and during virtual or telephone meetings.

• Process, retain, and manage complex project details, contractual requirements, and client data.
